Members
Organizing City:Taipei City
Participating Cities:Jakarta, Indonesia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Seoul, South Korea; Tokyo, Japan.
Goal
Through the formulation of strategies for developing e-government and broadband infrastructure, this project aims to explore the concept of a digital city. The member cities discuss topics related to ICT, share knowledge and experiences, and announce their results.
The main goals include:
- Facilitate experience sharing among member cities
- Demonstrate ICT accomplishments of member cities
- Create opportunities for digital businesses
- Improve e-living environments
With the needs of residents in mind, the project seeks to promote services that facilitate an intelligent way of living, while actively seeking cooperation among ICT industries and schools, as well as implementing various projects to build an intelligent city. All these efforts contribute towards transforming participating cities into a paradise for mobile workers and a model showcasing a lifestyle characterized by convenience and ease.
